Mount batur is an active volcano located at 1717meters (5633 feet) above sea level. Reach mounth batur from ubud is depending on route will take, probably take time about 1 hour 4 minutes (39.1 km) via Jl. Raya Pujung Kaja or 1 hour 7 minutes (40.1 km) via Jl. Tampaksiring and 1 hour 10 minutes (40.0 km) via Jl. Raya Desa Kenderan and Jl. Tampaksiring.

There is no public transportation from ubud to mount batur. Reach this volcano possible by motorbike or car, but if you begginer driver i would like to reccomend you to hire private driver to organise you trip.
