There are 4 impressive gates in the temple. Each gate is an entrance which connects between one area of the temple to another.

One gate is located at entrance between “Nista Mandala” (outer area) to “Madya Mandala” (middle area).

Other three are located at entrances between “Madya Mandala” to “Utama Mandala” (main area of the temple).

All gates have a stair at the middle, which it is flanked by unique statues in shape of Dragon (Mythological Creature in belief of Balinese People) and Pandawa (Figures in Mahabharata Story).
