Set inside a ravine-like cove with a wall of water that rushes from the divine-like beams above – it’s no surprise that Tukad Cepung is becoming a must-visit destination for everyone’s Instagram feeds.

Tibumana Waterfall
Tibumana Waterfall Bali is one of the most beautiful hidden waterfalls near Ubud. Luckily, only a few people know about it. It’s getting harder and harder to find secluded places in Bali since tourism is on the rise. This is why we were really happy to discover the beautiful Tibumana Waterfall, hidden deep in the jungle and with some of the most impressive sights in Bali.

The road from Ubud to Tibumana Waterfall takes only about 45 minutes. The road is good and easily accessible especially if you are using Google Maps. Getting to Tibumana Waterfall from Canggu or Denpasar takes a bit longer (1 hour and 30 minutes) but it is definitely worth it.

Don’t hesitate to take a break and take some photos! Once you’ll get to the Tibumana Waterfall parking, you’ll have to leave your car or motorbike there and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. There are a few small shops near the parking where you can buy water or refreshments. I would suggest bringing your own water since the prices here are double.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall
One of Bali’s hidden treasures, this gorgeous waterfall is surrounded by beautiful green rainforest and requires a good 800 metre walk to get there. The trek is by no means easy, especially during the rainy season when you should be wary of slippery rocks – but it is so worth it when you arrive.

Tegenungan Waterfall
Tegenungan Waterfall is not situated in the mountains (which is quite rare for waterfalls in Bali) but actually in Ubud village. Like many others, it still boasts beautiful lush greenery all around (and the added bonus of a beautiful temple nearby), and the natural springs are perfect for bathing. The water flow is heavy, leaving it clean and fresh, so you’ll no doubt spot plenty of locals flocking here each day to enjoy a swim or refreshing bath. And for any budding photographers out there, you’ll want to know that the best time to visit Tegenungan Waterfall is during the evening, since its west-facing location captures the beautiful afternoon light.

Ubud Monkey Forest
Playing With Bali Monkeys At The Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Seeing the cheeky Bali monkeys should be somewhere near the top of your Indonesia bucket list, and the Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary is the most popular place to do it.
Almost 600 monkeys live at the Bali monkey forest! This is a 12 hectare (30 acre) jungle area surrounding an old 14th century Hindu temple, located in the heart of Ubud.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace
Tegallalang is a smaller valley than Jatiluwih, but it's very popular and more accessible. The beautiful roadside valley lookout is just a short drive up from Ubud. If you can spare some k on your visit, there are several other sites in Bali offering impressive rice field views. Some even feature majestic mountains as backdrops. Due to succession planting, there’s no best season to see the green rice fields – they look amazing all year!

Alas Harum Swing & Coffee Plantation
Another great agro-tourism destination with the best swings in the Tegalalang area lies in alas harum Ubud.

Water Temple ( tirta empul )
One of the busiest water temples in Indonesia, Tirta Empul is a temple considered sacred by Balinese Hindu community. The temple has several holy springs which are said to have been created by The God Indra and believed to be blessed water that could purify those who bathe there.

Tegenungan Waterfall
Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Bali so the pathway is well maintained and very safe to explore. It’s just a short walk down the concrete steps and the safety rail leads you all the way to the pit of the falls.
