Fresh water natural pool that you can't resist to swim in If you like trekking, Tembeling Forest is the perfect choice for you. Tembeling is the last remnant of natural forest that once covered areas of the island. The walk down is through thick, green vegitation and the forest is filled with the melodious calls of native birds. After reaching the bottom of the track, you are rewarded with cooling off in the pools formed by a natural spring below. Tembeling Forest has two pools, both of spiritual significance, one for men and one for women. there are two hidden natural pools with water so clear that you can't resist jumping into them.

Location : Tembeling Beach and Forest is located at Batukandik, Nusapenida, Kabupaten Klungkung, a 50 minute boat ride from Bali Harbour.

HOW TO GET TEMBELING?

If you're traveling over from Bali to Nusa Penida you will need a speedboat from Sanur in the morning and come back in the afternoon. But if you want to see the entire Nusa Penida and really enjoy your stay, you would need 2-3 days on the island.

Tembeling Beach and Forest is a 45 minute ride from the Toya Pakeh Harbour Nusa Penida, where the ferries arrive from Bali. From the harbour you can either hire a driver or rent a scooter. Whilst scooters are cheaper, if you aren’t a confident driver we do not recommend this option as the Nusa Penida roads are very unpredictable and underdeveloped.

A driver for the day will cost 950K - 1.200K IDR, and a scooter will cost 50K-80K IDR for the day. If you are staying on Nusa Penida you can ask for a driver at you accommodation or contact our driver.
